Fifth week

Fifth week 

This week we decided to meet together to eat something. We chose to eat a Burger  because Paula and Amaia recommended this restaurant. The food was delicious, later we decided to go for a coffee and some shopping. 


Dominika 

During this week Amaia's mother had her birthday so on wednesday we went to the thai restaurant. We ate sushi, shrimp and pad thai. The food was amazing. The best thing inside was the food brought for us by the cat robot. On Sunday we still celebrate the birthday and we go again to the restaurant this Time with all famili. I met everyone, her grandpa, cousins and aunt. We were in a typical bask restaurant, in this region they eat a lot of meat so except for shrimps and squids, there was a steak with goat milk. This week was very interesting, I'm very grateful that I was able to try all these things. 


Alicja 

This week Paula finished her exams, so we had more time to spend outside. On Wednesday, I met with Dominika, and then Paula and I met with her friends. On Thursday, we went to Paula's grandparents for lunch as we do every week. On Friday, I went with Paula and her father to an Italian restaurant for pizza. While Paula had dance lessons I went to the gym and did a little shopping. Afterwards, Paula and I spent time with friends.

Sixth week

Sixth week Dominika The Time is going so fast, only 2 weeks and we will be gone. This week I have a lot of work at my polish school so during the week I don't do anything interesting but on the weekend I go out with Ala to walk around the city and spend the Time on one street where there are all the pubs, next I go to the amaia’s friends. On Saturday I decided to go to the art museum in Vitoria, but this type of modern art it’s not my favorite so I am not the biggest fan of this museum.  Alicja This week I had a lot of things to do for my school and school here, so I didn't do anything interesting. On Friday and Saturday we met with Paula and her friends at her friend's. On Sunday we went to Bilbao with Paula and her dad. On the way we visited the town of Mundaka, where we saw the coast and the beach with lots of surfers. Then we went to visit San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. It is a beautiful island that we had to walk down to and then climb up the stairs. The return was the wors

Third week

  Dominika It was a special week because of the carnaval , on Saturday when I was going to the gym I was in shock because the whole town was preparing for the carnaval night. Since morning a lot of people were walking in the costume. All families or even old people have some special costume, here it is a national Day but I was not except this.  In the evening with Amaia and her friends we went out to the place where all the young people were spending the Time. All the group of friends have some costume like football players, princess’s , pirates , animals or police. It was like hallowen in poland but here every one was taking part in this special Day. Alicja This week it was carnival so everyone from the beginning of the week was just talking about it.  On Thursday, me and Paula went to buy our costumes.  There was a really great selection.  I was shocked because here everyone dressed up and older and younger.  On Friday we met with Paula's friends.  On Saturday afternoon, we were

First week

  First week   On Monday 31 of January we had our flight, first we traveled to Frankfurt, then we finally flew to Bilbao. When we arrived Amaia’s and Paula’s family took us to their home. It was the most stressful week because everything was new for us. On Tuesday we went to school for the first time. Every teacher and student was very kind because everyone wanted to meet us and they were asking us about a lot of things. Dominika During the first week I saw the most important place in the town. I like the city because it’s a lot of pretty buildings and restaurants. It's a very touristic place, during the weekend all the city is partying too late hour. In school we are making a lot of different projects from spanish, history and biology. On Friday evening Amaia took me to her friends and we were spending Time with them together.   Alicja   During the first week I went for a walk with Paula. She showed me the center and  the old town. Vitoria is a very beautiful and clean city. Paula
