Paula:

Seventh weekend:

As we didn’t have school on Friday, we took advantage of that and prepared a long trip to Bydgoszcz and Toruń. On Thursday, we stayed home and watched a film with chips because we had more energy for our trip. 


On Friday, at 10 we took the car and went to see the old town of Bydgoszcz. In the main square they prepared a celebration about the independence of Poland. We walked a bit and we ate Żurek in bread in a really good restaurant. Then, we went to Alicja’s uncle’s house to have a coffee and the cousins, Alicja and I played board games. After that, we took a walk and went to sleep. 


On Saturday, we went to Toruń, to see a museum and a planetarium. Firstly, we went to the museum. It was about science and it was a kinda interactive museum. Because we could play with some things and try experiments. After, we went to a restaurant and eat Żurek and Schabowy. Later on we went to the planetarium, which was really interesting because we were playing with a volcano and a really big planet. In the next room, we laid down and watched the show, and I had some headphones to listen to it in English. 


















Amaia:

Seventh weekend:

This weekend was longer because of the Independence Day of Poland, so we went to Warsaw to visit the aunt of Dominika. She has 2 cousins, Gabrycha the older one and Weronika the younger. We arrived in the morning, so we went to a led lights museum. Then, we had dinner all together and we also played with 2 guinea pigs that they have.


On Saturday, Gabrycha gave us a tour and we also visited the Palace of culture and science. In the afternoon we went to the shopping center to buy some things at Victoria's Secret. Then we arrived home very tired so we ate something and we went to sleep. 


On Sunday, we went to the forest and we also went horse riding. Then we had dinner and when we finished, we prepared the suitcases because we were leaving that afternoon.

Sixth week

Sixth week Dominika The Time is going so fast, only 2 weeks and we will be gone. This week I have a lot of work at my polish school so during the week I don't do anything interesting but on the weekend I go out with Ala to walk around the city and spend the Time on one street where there are all the pubs, next I go to the amaia’s friends. On Saturday I decided to go to the art museum in Vitoria, but this type of modern art it’s not my favorite so I am not the biggest fan of this museum.  Alicja This week I had a lot of things to do for my school and school here, so I didn't do anything interesting. On Friday and Saturday we met with Paula and her friends at her friend's. On Sunday we went to Bilbao with Paula and her dad. On the way we visited the town of Mundaka, where we saw the coast and the beach with lots of surfers. Then we went to visit San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. It is a beautiful island that we had to walk down to and then climb up the stairs. The return was the wors...

Fourth week

Fourth week   That's half of our exchange.  We can't believe how fast time flies here.  This week was really hot and had perfect weather.  We also had our Monday off from school because of the carnival. Dominika On monday we decided to spend this time in the village. Amaia and her family have another house out of the city, in the garden they grow a lot of plants and also they have chickens and ducks so they don’t have to buy eggs. In this village they also have a swimming pool so we decided to go to swim for the first time this year. The water was like ice so we didn't spend too much time inside.  Alicja On Monday, I and Paula had to study. Paula also had dance lessons, so I went to a cafe in the city's main square. During the week we didn't do anything interesting, because we had a lot of things to do for school. On Friday and Saturday we met with Paula's friends.

Ninth weekend

  Ninth weekend: Paula: On Friday we had a sleepover in Alicja’s house with her friends. We danced and finished watching ”too hot to handle” with Alicja’s sister. We danced and talked all night, and we all slept in Alicja’s room. It was so fun. The next morning, I said goodbye to some of Alicja’s friends and they were so nice. They even gifted me some chocolates. In the afternoon, Alicja’s friends, Dominika and Amaia went to the Christmas market to see the lights. They were so beautiful. We took some pictures and said goodbye to Dominika and Amaia. Then, we went to Alicja’s friend’s house and saw the mundial match with her parents. Finally, I said goodbye to other friends and they were so nice and cute. On Sunday, we went to Alicja’s grandparents’ house to celebrate her grandfather’s birthday.
